In order to further advance its internationalization strategy and strengthen academic exchange and cooperation with universities in China and Central and Eastern European countries, the School of Management of Jiangsu University warmly welcomed Professor Jovo Ateljevic from the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, for an exchange visit on the morning of October 30, 2025. The meeting, held in Conference Room 1508 of Sanjiang Building, also served as a significant academic event under the framework of the China-Bosnia and Herzegovina Cross-border E-commerce Joint Research Center. Attendees included Dean Professor Zhu Yongyue, Assistant Dean Professor He Di, and Professor Fan Mingyue from the School of Management, Professor Jovo Ateljevic, as well as student representatives from the Cross-border E-commerce MBA program (Classes of 2024 and 2025). 
 Dean Zhu first extended a warm welcome to Professor Ateljevic on behalf of the School of Management. In his address, he emphasized that this exchange represents an important opportunity to deepen cooperation between the two institutions. He highlighted the potential for substantive collaboration in talent cultivation and scientific research, particularly leveraging the platform of the China-Bosnia and Herzegovina Cross-border E-commerce Joint Research Center, to achieve mutual benefits. Following his speech, Dean Zhu presented Professor Ateljevic with a commemorative gift featuring Chinese characteristics. Subsequently, Professor Fan provided an introduction to the School of Management, covering its development history, discipline construction, faculty strength, and achievements in internationalization. She specifically showcased the establishment background, training objectives, curriculum features, and student development of the Cross-border E-commerce MBA program. Professor Jovo Ateljevic expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and introduced the University of Banja Luka and its Faculty of Economics. He conveyed a strong desire to engage in multi-level and broad-ranging exchanges and cooperation with the School of Management of Jiangsu University, expressing hope for jointly cultivating high-quality international business talents for both countries. During the exchange session, student representatives from the Cross-border E-commerce MBA program introduced themselves, demonstrating the confident and open spirit of the management students and their strong interest and enthusiasm for learning in the field of cross-border e-commerce. In the cooperation discussion segment, both sides held in-depth and productive discussions on various potential collaborative topics and reached a series of preliminary intentions. The academic seminar proceeded in a warm and engaging atmosphere, effectively enhancing mutual understanding between the School of Management of Jiangsu University and the Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka. Important consensus was reached in areas such as joint talent cultivation, collaborative curriculum development, and academic research, laying a solid foundation for implementing specific cooperative projects in the future. Both parties will maintain close communication to jointly promote the early implementation of the cooperative intentions, contributing actively to educational cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between China and Central and Eastern European countries.  |
